Foreman Breakdown Technician - 2 shifts

Job location, Arrondissement of Antwerp - Belgium

You are responsible for maintaining our production in a safe and cost-efficient manner.

 

As a cooperating foreman, you manage a small team of 2 breakdown technicians using a ticket system.
You analyze and resolve malfunctions on a wide variety of production machines
You can create a clear problem definition and escalate if problems cannot be resolved within the foreseeable future.
You discuss solutions with your colleagues and participate in Daily Control and shift transfer on a daily basis
You participate in SGAs or continuous improvement programs
You optimize format conversions and adjustments of packaging machines
You assist with the installation of new production lines and provide preventive maintenance
You have a diploma in electromechanics, preferably at bachelor's level, and already have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with mechanics, pneumatics and electricity
You have experience in an industrial environment. Experience in the food industry is a big plus
You are solution-oriented, like to think along and at the same time ensure that the safety of you and your colleagues comes first.
You have knowledge/experience in format changes of packaging machines and experience with many types of drives, sensors and pneumatic components.
You have experience managing a small team
