The university library is structured in an agile network organization with self-organizing groups where the right skills and abilities are included with a mandate to drive development, both now and for the future. For the Research Data Group, this means joint responsibility for the whole with individual responsibility for different parts, in order to provide the best service and services to the university's researchers.

We are now looking for a data steward who wants to become part of the Research Data Group. You work closely with the researchers at the departments and contribute to meeting their needs and strengthening competence through training, departmental meetings, webinars and other communication.

To succeed in the role, you need to have a good technical understanding combined with knowledge of the regulations surrounding research data. You are educational and communicative, with the ability to adapt your support to the needs of the target group.

The work also includes monitoring the environment in the research data area and, based on the needs of the users, being the driving force in the development of relevant solutions for the researchers' work with handling, storage, description, sharing, publication and preservation of research data.
