The work also takes place in close collaboration with Region Halland.

We are now working on changes to develop our ability to offer early support to our children and young people. In addition, we are increasing our capacity in preschool and primary school, upper secondary school, social services and culture and leisure.

The role of coordinator with us

As coordinator, you are responsible for receiving and coordinating matters concerning children aged 0-20 in the entire municipality. Matters can be brought in from all professionals in the municipality. Coordinating matters is about deciding which collaboration forum is most helpful and which businesses should be invited. You need to have a good overview of which cooperation forums we have in the municipality. The efforts will to a large extent take place in collaboration with other actors such as culture and leisure, the police, schools and preschools as well as health care.

Collaborative forums included are TSI team (early coordinated interventions), SSPF (Social Services, School, Police, Leisure), STOP meetings and school social team. As a coordinator, you are responsible for holding the TSI meetings. In your assignment, collaboration is the starting point, as well as thinking holistically from a preventive perspective on both individual and group level.

As a coordinator you will:

Be employed in the administration of Preschool & Primary School and be part of the Child and Student Health unit.
Work in close collaboration with our other coordinator who is employed within Individual & Family Care.

You will work both strategically and operationally, and have a close collaboration with child and student health, sociologists in collaboration with the police, and other relevant actors.

Your profile

As a person, you have a humble and non-prestigious approach, which means that you are interested and curious. You have good ability to work both independently and in a team. As the role involves a lot of contacts with different collaboration parties, we are looking for someone who has a very good ability to collaborate and is confident in collaboration. You have a very good ability to create and maintain good relationships. You enjoy working both strategically and operationally, and you have good analytical skills.

Since your assignment is carried out a lot in collaboration with others, you need to be comfortable working in the organizational space where collaboration takes place based on the children's needs. You have an interest in working together to contribute to the development of more preventive and accessible social work, before problems grow too big. You must have a good ability to adapt your approach and see opportunities.

You are a good communicator who can express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing, and can convey a message in an educational way. You have an understanding of what it is like to work in a politically controlled organization. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The role of coordinator is under development, which means that the position will develop as methods and working methods develop. You therefore need to find it inspiring to be in a developing position. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
