Your duties
Do you want to be involved in developing our unit for nurses in health care in Halmstad municipality?

As a nursing student, you are placed in home health care where you work closely with nurses and perform tasks in the HSL area.

Examples of work tasks are sample collection, insulin administration and wound dressing. In addition to practical aspects, you are responsible for documenting events surrounding the patient and liaising with relatives and other professionals in the care team. You meet the home care administration's patients in both ordinary and special accommodation.

As an employee within the home care administration in Halmstad Municipality, you will receive a basic placement in a unit, but we would like to see that you have an open mind and can work in other units if necessary. You are offered introductory days with a review of systems and routines as well as lectures on palliative care and wound care.



Your qualifications
We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse or nursing student with at least four semesters completed. You are a responsible person with a good ability to plan and organize your work. You have full delegation ability and experience in taking all delegations from authorized personnel.

The work involves documentation in our digital systems, which requires good computer skills and strong communication skills. You need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish in contact with colleagues, patients and relatives.

B driving license is a requirement.
