We are looking for a Caretaker who is passionate about keeping our premises and outdoor environments in top condition. Who are First Camp?

Our goal is clear - to become the world's leading camping chain, which of course presupposes that our lawns are well cut, that all the lights are on and that we constantly pay attention to both the whole and the details. Our destinations would have fallen into disrepair without our caretakers, an incredibly important role at any destination!

What does the role entail?

As a Caretaker at First Camp, you are responsible for the daily maintenance at the destination, which means everything from mowing the grass and changing the lights to simple carpentry work and property maintenance. You also handle error reports from guests, where your sense of service and ability to intervene quickly makes a big difference. With a positive and solution-focused attitude, you create security and well-being for everyone who stays with us.

Basically, your duties include general janitorial duties, but you must be flexible and able to support other areas when needed. Everything from jumping into the cash register in the bistro to sometimes cleaning service houses. We always work with the guests' needs at the center, and as part of our team you contribute to meeting and solving everyday challenges.

Who are we looking for?

We would like for you to have previous experience in janitorial or property management, although this is not a requirement. You are handy, enjoy physical work and appreciate alternating working days. With an eye for detail and an ability to quickly adapt to new situations, it is easy for you to create an overview and prioritize tasks. You see solutions where others see problems and are always ready to deliver that little extra for our guests.

As a person, you are positive and helpful, like to offer yourself and appreciate a good team spirit. If you have an education in a relevant field, it is advantageous but not a requirement. We expect you to be able to communicate well in Swedish and English to handle instructions and greet guests in a pleasant and professional manner.

Conditions

We are looking for 2 employees for the summer season (March - September) with varying scope (20-40 h/week). Working hours may include early mornings, evenings and weekends in accordance with the hotel and restaurant union's collective agreement.
