Field assistants (hourly, part-time)

We are looking for you who are interested in an hourly paid position as a field assistant during the period April to December 2026.
About the job
The work involves various inventories in existing forest trials, for the establishment of trials as well as inventory of practically established stands. Work with botanization of field vegetation may also occur.

There may also be some work in the pathology lab and dendrolab.

Your background
The applicant must be able to easily handle map information and process data, e.g. in excel. Furthermore, a good ability to work both independently and in a group is required, and you must also enjoy working outdoors in all weathers.

We are looking for between 8-12 field assistants, most of whom will work out in the field at various premises throughout the country. This requires that the field assistant can get to the field work independently, which is why a driver's license is a requirement. A few only work in a lab environment and for these jobs there is no requirement for a driver's license.

Previous experience in measuring forest trials or inventorying sample areas and being familiar with site mapping under Swedish conditions is an advantage.

Good ability to communicate in both English and Swedish is also meritorious.

Scope:
We are looking for approx. 8-12 field assistants who can work variedly as needed during the period April to December 2026. The need for work in percentage is estimated to be approximately 10-30% alternatively 50-70% of full time.
