Linåkerskolan is the municipality's only upper secondary school and we currently have around 350 students and around 55 staff who give these young people the best conditions for good knowledge for life. The school is divided into four mentor work teams and a special education work team.

Our prioritized goals for the year are increased knowledge in mathematics and Swedish, and to that end we also work a lot on attendance as well as safety and well-being. The whole municipality is engaged in a rewarding work in SKUA.

There is a broad shared culture at the school and high ceilings are another sign. We make high demands on each other and have high expectations for our students.

WORK DUTIES
As one of our teachers chooses to move to the north of the country, we are looking for her replacement in Swedish and mainly in SVA, are you the one we are looking for?

You will teach grades 7-9 in the above subjects.

Each employee belongs to a work team led by their work team leader, and you have joint meeting time in the work team once a week. The employees in the work team have, in principle, all their teaching assigned to "their" work team. As a teacher in SVA, you have instruction in all labor laws.

The entire municipality is fully committed to SKUA and if you have worked with it, it is meritorious.

The assignment includes mentoring, in which you have a special responsibility to follow up and support the individual students' development in close cooperation with the student's guardian. For the position, it is mentoring in a year 8.

You have a collaboration with subject colleagues where development in the subject in many cases takes place collectively with recurring subject team meetings. These subject teams develop, among other things, joint arrangements regarding which subject areas (in each subject) are studied in which year. At the same time, as an individual teacher, you have a great deal of autonomy in teaching. All teaching is based on Google Classroom.

We constantly have ongoing work at organizational level to improve the organization and direct efforts at individual and group level to reach as far as possible. The dynamics at the school are great. We change, adjust and constantly look for solutions to make it as good as possible for our students.
