GO! CVO Antwerp is a center for adult education of the GO! education of the Flemish Community. We offer more than 60 courses in day, evening or distance learning to more than 13,000 students. To strengthen the organization, we are looking for a Dutch teacher for the General Additional Education course for our campuses in Deurne and Hoboken. To start from 26/01/2026.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Framework for Educational Quality sets out the expectations of high-quality education. All educational institutions must comply with this. As a teacher of GO! CVO Antwerp you are the professional who provides quality education every day. You have an interesting but also complex assignment: guiding students towards a diploma or certificate.

YOUR TASKS

Your core task consists of preparing, implementing and supervising lessons based on the curriculum objectives.
You design lessons that optimally match the characteristics, needs and learning needs of the students.
In consultation with the department and the department manager, you update teaching and evaluation materials.
You ensure a broad evaluation of students.
You follow up the course administration.
You participate in deliberations.
You participate in department meetings.
You participate in education days and staff meetings.
You participate in initial guidance and other professionalization, focused on both subject content and subject didactics.

YOUR PROFILE

You have a diploma in accordance with the vacancy or convincing relevant experience.
You are in possession of a pedagogical competence certificate or are willing to follow the professionalization that we provide.
You are familiar with the target group.
You are sufficiently digitally literate to integrate a learning platform into your lessons and to monitor student administration.
You think about your own actions.
You are willing to adjust the approach to your lessons based on feedback.
You have a constructive communication style.
