For a rapidly growing international producer in the food industry, with over 400 employees and an annual turnover exceeding €200 million, we are looking for an Accountant for the office in Antwerp.

In this role, you will have broad responsibilities: from processing accounting transactions and preparing reports to contributing ideas for improvements and efficiency in financial processes. You will work closely with colleagues from various departments and play an active role in further professionalizing the financial organization.

**What will your responsibilities include?**

* Processing purchase and sales invoices and executing bank entries.
* Preparing monthly and quarterly closings.
* Preparing financial reports and assisting with budget monitoring.
* Reviewing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with tax obligations.
* Assisting with audits and internal controls.
* Collaborating with other departments to make processes more efficient.

**What do we expect from you?**

* A bachelor's or graduate degree in Accountancy-Taxation or a similar field.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar function.
* You work in a structured manner and take ownership of your results.
