Senior Case Officer with IBIC Competence – Shape the Future of Social Services in Hjo**

We are seeking a **Senior Case Officer** for our authority unit in Hjo, a key role in case management, team leadership, and methodological development. This position combines traditional casework under **SoL** and **LSS** with responsibilities for guidance, quality review, and coordination of the case handling process, acting as support for the unit manager.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform traditional case management (approx. 50%)
* Lead and manage the team, plan, distribute work, and coach colleagues
* Lead group meetings and methodological development forums
* Introduce and support new employees
* Contribute to financially responsible decisions and resource use
* Drive quality and development initiatives with the unit manager
* Collaborate with internal and external actors
* Monitor and report workplace safety and environment issues
* Work closely with the First Social Secretary for children and families
* Strengthen robust case handling according to SoL and LSS, and enhance team competency

**Qualifications:**

*Required:*

* Degree in social work or equivalent
* Solid experience and knowledge in authority work under SoL/LSS
* Strong documentation skills and legal compliance in case handling
* Excellent Swedish language skills, both written and spoken

*Preferred / Meritorious:*

* Advanced IBIC knowledge, particularly in standard formulation and needs assessment
* Experience in supervision, team leadership, methodological support, or development and quality assurance
* Knowledge of LSS legislation
