We carry out these activities with more than 2,300 employees within the BENELUX and Germany. As HR Manager, you lead the HR department of APK Belgium. You are ultimately responsible for payroll, HR support, and Learning & Development administration for multiple entities. In a context involving various collective labor agreements and complex legislation, you ensure standardized processes, compliance, and operational efficiency. You make a concrete contribution to the HR P&L and act as a sparring partner for senior management.
Managing HR Business Partners, Payroll, HR Support, and L&D administration. Coaching and developing your team; Ensure operational continuity and quality.
Implement process optimizations based on internal audits and best practices.
Lead HR projects and report on progress and results.
Develop and monitor KPIs for HR processes and business service delivery.
Ensure quality and compliance for all legal entities through standardization.
Oversee administrative procedures in accordance with legislation and internal guidelines.
Monitor technical and legal developments and translate these into policy.
Monitor business and compliance risks; support with financial audits.
Coordinate with senior management regarding escalations, SLAs, and process improvements.
Collaborate with external partners (insurers, accountants, suppliers) to guarantee compliance and improve processes.
### Profile
Master's level of work and thinking (HR-related).
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in an HR director position.
Thorough knowledge of Belgian HR legislation and collective labor agreements; An international context is a plus. Demonstrable experience in setting up and optimizing administrative HR systems and processes. Strong in people management: coaching, prioritizing, and performance management. Experienced in project management and change processes. Analytical, structured, and results-oriented. Strong communication skills in stakeholder management. No-nonsense & down-to-earth: pragmatic, decisive, and hands-on.
