To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) across Germany remotely or at our locations in Hamburg, Berlin and Rostock.
### Your responsibilities
• You are responsible for the preparation, implementation and quality of monthly payroll accounting for a fixed customer base.
• Your area of ​​responsibility includes the reporting procedures between employers, social security providers and the tax authorities.
• As the first point of contact, you will support our cross-industry customers with telephone and written inquiries about payroll accounting.
• You will also create standard reports, personnel statistics and their evaluations.
• You keep an eye on legal changes and current developments in the area of ​​payroll.
• In addition, you provide technical support to Junior Payroll Specialists and Payroll Specialists, pass on your knowledge and conduct training.
Your requirements profile
• Completed commercial vocational training as a payroll accountant, tax clerk or a comparable qualification.
• At least two years of professional experience in payroll accounting, in the payroll area or in an advisory role at a tax office or an auditing firm.
• Experience in independently carrying out at least 400 payrolls per month.
• Sound knowledge of payroll accounting for complex issues, especially in the area of ​​company pension schemes (bAV), benefits (e.g. JobBike) and different groups of employees such as part-time employees, working students or trainees.
• Strong customer orientation and convincing communication skills.
• You are characterized by initiative, determination, reliability and solution orientation.
• Very good knowledge of German (ideally at C2 level) and good knowledge of English.
