Job Description

The Stroke and Neurology Department is a large department consisting of two inpatient units, day care and outpatient clinics.
One is an inpatient unit with 22 beds (of which 3 are intermediate beds and 2 are observation beds) that treats patients with stroke in the acute phase and acute general neurological diseases. The other inpatient unit is a 5-day unit with space for 8 patients, and we also operate a neurological outpatient clinic, stroke outpatient clinic, day care and day assessment.

As a nurse, you have an important function at our hospital, and you play a crucial role in ensuring safe and good patient experiences. We have several vacancies as we have had vacant positions for a period due to a reduction in beds, but from January 1, . We currently have nursing positions available on several units:

Job Duties
What does a typical workday look like?
The job duties will consist of comprehensive nursing care, in both the acute, assessment and early rehabilitation phases for patients with stroke and neurological diagnoses.
After completing training and certification, part of the work will be in the observation room and in the intermediate room with patients, primary health care and the patient's relatives
Supervised students
Contribute to ensuring that the work environment is characterized by safety, openness and respect
Qualifications
To thrive in our work, we are looking for you who:
Have Norwegian authorization as a nurse
It is desirable that you have experience in emergency nursing/stroke/neurology
We also have good experience in employing newly graduated nurses and nurses with experience other than hospitals
Must have good command of Norwegian both orally and in writing
We ask that relevant documentation be attached to the application.
