Solution Engineer

Translate customer inquiries into well-thought-out and innovative IT solutions in close collaboration with sales and the technical department.
Prepare and develop technical project configurations and ensure a smooth handover to system engineers.
Provide technical input for quotes, calculations, and presentations to support the sales process.
Monitor the technical quality of projects from design to delivery, including quality control.
Provide systematic input on resource planning and technical choices, with occasional client interaction on larger projects for additional technical coordination.
Profile
You have a bachelor's degree and a strong passion for IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, cloud/Azure). You possess the same technical knowledge as a system engineer, but consciously choose a preparatory and advisory role rather than an executive role.
You communicate fluently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and support sales and colleagues with clear advice.
You work independently and proactively, contribute to process improvements, and maintain an overview of projects.
You are analytical, solution-oriented, and customer-focused, enjoy sharing knowledge, and have experience with HPE, Aruba, Proxmox, or similar technologies (a plus).
