Job Description

About the Job
As an ICT & IP Legal Manager, you will be a legal sparring partner for VGD's clients: companies from various sectors – from traditional SMEs to large corporations – who take digitalization seriously, want to be future-proof, and optimally protect their intellectual property. You will advise them on ICT contracts, data protection, software licenses, trademarks, copyrights, and everything related to the legal management of digital and creative assets.
You will proactively and independently handle complex cases, collaborate with accountants, tax specialists, lawyers, and other consultants on multidisciplinary, practical, and customized solutions, and provide legal expertise on challenging issues. You will also independently manage larger projects (including preparing quotes, monitoring budgets, etc.). Your enthusiasm and ownership are essential qualities that contribute to your success in this role.
As a Legal Manager, you will contribute to the further growth of the VGD Legal team, coach the (Senior) Advisors, and contribute to the internal organization of the Legal team and its work processes. This is what your workday will look like:
Together with the Managers and Director, you'll play a key role in developing complex projects. You'll manage the entire project from application to final product and distribute the workload evenly across the project team.
You'll coach and support Legal Advisors in finding answers to clients' legal questions.
You'll support SMEs, growth companies, and organizations in various sectors.
You'll advise on ICT and IP law: from cybersecurity to software and brand protection.
You're adept at drafting and reviewing agreements such as licenses, Service Level Agreements, SaaS agreements, etc.
