Pollet Water Group unites 30 companies active in water treatment. Pollet Pool Group focuses on the swimming pool construction market with nine distribution companies and two manufacturers. Pollet Medical Group consists of nine medically oriented companies. Together, the group has more than 2,750 employees.
Pollet Group, located in Koekelare, is currently the financial and legal heart of our group. With a team of more than 30 experts, the team supports all the group's companies in HR (payroll), legal affairs, administration, finance, and other services.
Pollet Group, located in Waregem, is the operational heart of our group. From here, we work closely with the business to support them in recruitment & selection, talent management, and performance management.
WHAT DOES THE JOB INVOLVE?
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for a pragmatic HR policy, supporting and advising management on HR needs in daily operational practices.
You will be responsible for an HR team spread across two locations. You will bridge the gap between Payroll & Admin and Comp & Ben (hard HR) located in Koekelare and soft HR located in Waregem.
Key Responsibilities
You will oversee a pragmatic and results-oriented HR policy, aligned with the expectations and ambitions of the business. You will act as a sparring partner for the group and provide HR advice at the request of various Pollet Group companies, both nationally and internationally. You facilitate efficient and effective administration and payroll and ensure a smooth recruitment and selection process, with a view to optimally supporting the business. You optimize wherever possible.
You inspire and motivate your team, consisting of two payroll Xprts, one comp & ben Xprt, one HR BP, and one recruitment Xprt, working as a bridge between hard and soft HR across the two locations.
You provide advice ranging from quality recruitment to insight into labor costs and the development of performance reports.
You roll up your sleeves for HR projects and contribute to smooth implementation.
You further develop a strong organizational culture and actively contribute to promoting the Pollet Group DNA.
You report to the HR & Legal Director and are a member of the Pollet Group Executive Committee.
Profile
PROFILE
You have a master's degree and have at least 10 years of expertise in various HR roles. You feel comfortable in an HR advisory/consultancy role for various stakeholders.
You have several years of experience in recruitment and selection and at least five years as an HR Business Partner. Experience in talent development is a plus.
You are both solution-oriented and service-oriented, with a clear, consultative, and pragmatic approach. You achieve results in a people-focused and reliable manner.
Through your authentic communication and empathy, you act as a trusted advisor for management and employees.
You are able to connect with all levels within the organization. You collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate the necessary discretion required for this role.
You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, and you also speak French.
Your office is located in Waregem and Koekelare, but you also visit our companies on-site.
