Job Description

The home care service in Namsos is interdisciplinary, has a good working environment and we would like more employees on the team. We have premises in the center of Namsos and the home care service is one of the municipality's largest units. The working days are varied and exciting, and as an employee you get to use your expertise widely. At us, the different professional groups collaborate to deliver individually adapted health and care services of good quality. The departments collaborate with each other and the resources are utilized across the board according to competence and user needs. We work according to Namsos municipality's vision: "Together we create opportunities." Employees in the home care service get to use all sides of themselves because the tasks are varied. We work with home-dwelling service recipients who all have different needs. Our task is to provide health and care services with the goal of ensuring that those we help can manage as well as possible in their own homes. We focus on training and competence development in order to develop the correct division of tasks and task execution within the framework of responsible service provision. 
We are looking for someone who has a valid driver's license, is comfortable driving a car, and enjoys working with users in their own homes. You must be able to work independently, and will be given tasks adapted to your knowledge and level of competence. The position involves rotating work with home-based users in our district. 
The position's scope of work
The position is directly subordinate to the department manager in the field service. 
Participate in direct service provision to patients and contribute to ensuring that areas of responsibility are followed up and that objectives within the service are achieved 
Contribute to quality assurance of the service, planning and development in line with various goals in Namsos Municipality 
We are looking for someone who
Is an authorized health professional 
Has a valid driver's license for a car 
Is flexible in relation to the workplace and work tasks 
Participates in the workplace's change processes in line with societal changes and requirements. 
Your personal qualities
Are professionally curious, show interest and commitment and want to learn new tasks.
You represent loyalty, stability, predictability and continuity
Have good communication skills, and the ability to create good relationships with users/relatives and other partners.
Able to be responsible, take initiative, work independently and solve challenges.
You want to contribute to a good environment both professionally and socially
Can make yourself understood in Norwegian both written and spoken
The position requires that medications be handled properly in the service, and applicants must therefore pass a medication course at the workplace.
