Are you good at playing? Do you like to help and build with bricks? We are looking for a clear and generous adult, who can come and work in our toddler department!
The position involves responsibility for following up on individual health and care-related routines after training, and being a wise and playful adult in a toddler department. As an assistant, you will work actively with the implementation of the kindergarten's daily tasks and educational programs. The position is 80%, but can be extended to 100% in periods. The position is a temporary position, which will be extended annually. Good opportunity for a permanent position.
The position is available from 03.08, but we are flexible on start-up, if you are the one we are looking for!
Kvernabekken kindergarten is located in a child-friendly, quiet, established residential area in Nordheimsvegen in Fana. We have 53 children divided into 4 departments.
What a working day looks like
Ensure that the kindergarten is run in accordance with the Learning Workshop's value platform and quality standard
Establish good relationships with children where the adult and the child are equal. Where the adult listens, allows the children to participate, so that they develop their skills, gain self-confidence and joy of life 
Contribute with a positive attitude and drive, both for the children and for the work environment
Share responsibility for care and educational work in the kindergarten, e.g. assembly time, activities, free play, routine situations
Share responsibility for facilitating good cooperation with guardians/parents
Keep yourself professionally updated, and participate in courses and professional training that are offered, including through the Learning Workshop Academy

You must be a relationship-oriented person who sees each individual child. You listen and are responsive to what the children want to convey. You have professional ambitions and a heart for what you do. Furthermore, you have the ability to create commitment and a desire to participate in children's play and development.
You appear to be solution-oriented, flexible and cooperative. To succeed in the role, you must be able to communicate with people from different backgrounds and in different life situations. You must be able to work independently and be responsible. We want an assistant who is good, warm and a caring adult. Playful and ambitious, generous and clear are the keywords for our staff. Qualifications
Experience from working with people and/or a similar position
Good communication and presentation skills
You can be an active adult with children and be able to implement safety measures
Good Norwegian skills, both written and oral
Knowledge of cooking with children is an advantage
A police certificate must be presented before joining, but should not be included with the application
Personal suitability will be emphasized
