Seiersborg Upper Secondary School Follo AS is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Blue Cross Foundation Fredrikstad. The school is approved according to the Private Schools Act, Chapter 2, Section 2-1f, for specially adapted education and is approved for 123 student places.

Seiersborg Upper Secondary School Follo AS is a private school that offers an ordinary education course for students who need closer follow-up in a smaller school environment. The school's main goal is the students' mastery, and we want to facilitate that the students can master based on their own conditions. We believe that the relationship between people forms the basis for well-being, security and mastery. We will have integrated teams of teachers and environmental workers to provide safe and good learning environments, and we have particularly good opportunities to facilitate the needs of individual students.

Approved teaching competence in the health and upbringing subjects education program
Teaching competence in VG2 health service or VG2 health worker subject is desirable
Teaching competence in one or more of the other subjects offered by the school is desirable
Special education competence and/or experience in working with students with special needs is desirable
Candidates with teaching competence will be preferred

It is assumed that the applicant can identify with the diaconal work and values of the Blue Cross. Appointment requires that the applicants have professional and pedagogical competence for appointment in upper secondary school. The person appointed must present an approved police certificate in accordance with the Private Schools Act § 4-3. Personal suitability will be emphasized. The position is temporary for the school year . Subject to future student intake, group division and any absences/leaves, there may be a possibility of permanent employment in the long term.
