Job Description
In this versatile role, you will advise our departments on all matters related to occupational health and safety and support them in creating safe working conditions. You will ensure compliance with legal requirements while actively contributing to the continuous development of our Health & Safety Management System.
**What you can expect:**
* Support departments in preparing safety and emergency plans, operating instructions, and other EHS documentation.
* Conduct audits and safety inspections, and analyze and document incidents.
* Act as the central contact for EHS matters, including participating in safety training and employee instruction.
* Evaluate work equipment, materials, and procedures, perform hazard assessments, and assist departments in defining protective measures, including the qualification of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Coordinate EHS specialists and monitor compliance with legal requirements and safety-related key performance indicators.
**What you bring:**
* A completed technical education (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university degree).
* Qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist is desirable.
* Qualification as a Waste Management Officer is an advantage.
* Strong MS Office skills.
* Excellent organizational skills with a structured and independent working style.
* Commitment, teamwork, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
* Good written and spoken English.
**Salary:**
We prefer to discuss salary in person, but here’s what we can already share: We offer market-competitive compensation, and depending on the position and your qualifications, a salary above the applicable collective agreement is possible from the start. For this position, the minimum annual gross salary is **EUR 45,500**, with higher compensation depending on your qualifications and experience.
