As a Production Engineer you are the link between engineering and production. You ensure that designs are translated into a manufacturable product structure and an efficient assembly process. In this role you play an important role in New Product Introduction (NPI), optimizing existing production processes and guaranteeing quality and manufacturability.
### Your responsibilities - Set up and maintain the Manufacturing BOM and product structures in the ERP system. - Translating engineering data into efficient production and assembly steps. - Supporting NPI projects and supervising prototype and series production. - Optimizing and securing production and assembly processes. - Drawing up assembly instructions, control plans and tools. - Assessing and implementing product and process changes. - Act as a troubleshooter in case of technical disruptions. - Intensive collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, Sales and Supply Chain.
What are you bringing? - A completed bachelor's or higher professional education in technology, business administration or a similar field. - At least 5 years of relevant experience in production engineering, process engineering or work preparation. - Experience with ERP and PLM systems. - Knowledge of production processes, materials and manufacturability. - Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude. - Good command of Dutch and English.
