💡 What will you do as an Accountant?  • You are responsible for updating and monitoring the analytical accounting on a daily basis, so that the figures are always up-to-date and entered correctly
• Actively monitor payments and accounts receivable management: you guarantee a healthy cash flow and maintain contact with our customers in a professional manner
• Manage and closely monitor supplier payments and incoming invoices
• You provide support in the preparation of monthly and quarterly closings and VAT returns
• Dutch and English? You switch effortlessly, because as an international scale-up we also work for our foreign entities (think of the Nordics, France, the Netherlands, etc.)
• Collaboration is key: sometimes you delve into a financial issue together with your colleagues, sometimes you work on a task in peace and concentration
• And oh yes: we have lunch together at the bar or outside in the sun ☀️
💼 What values do you bring to our Finance team? • You have at least a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy-Taxation (or equivalent through experience)
• You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar accounting position
• Knowledge of or experience with Exact Online is a big plus (or a comparable ERP/accounting package)
• You work extremely accurately, in a structured manner and have a keen eye for detail
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• You are proactive, analytical and eager to learn to grow with our fintech scale-up
• You are open to taking initiative and, above all, you are eager to have fun in your job!
