Interim Cost Accountant for Thermo Fisher Proteomics Sciences (Olink) in Uppsala

About the mission
Adecco is now looking for an Interim Cost Accountant for Thermo Fisher Proteomics Sciences (Olink) in Uppsala. Olink is a leading player in proteomics and develops innovative solutions that contribute to research and the precision medicine of the future.
In this role, you will support the business during a business-critical period with a focus on the annual standard cost update as well as stock inventories at two production facilities. You will work closely with Operations Finance, Supply Chain, Controllership and Production to ensure accurate costing, inventory valuations and financial reporting.
## Your main tasks include:
• Drive and support the work with the annual standard cost update
• Validate cost bases and implement updated standard costs in ERP systems
• Coordinate and support physical stock inventories
• Analyze and investigate inventory deviations and ensure correct inventory valuation
• Participate in monthly financial statements, account reconciliations and inventory-related analyses
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements and audit processes
• Contribute to improvements in cost accounting, inventory management and financial processes
You will be employed as a consultant at Adecco with the start of the assignment on September 7, 2026 and the assignment will initially run until the turn of the year. For the right person, there is a possible opportunity for employment with a customer.
### About you
We are looking for someone who has several years of experience in cost accounting, controlling or accounting from the manufacturing industry. You are analytical, thorough and confident in working with both financial analyzes and operational issues.
## We would like you to have:
• Academic education in economics or equivalent
• Experience with standard costs, inventory valuation and inventory accounting
• Experience with closing work and account reconciliations
• Good understanding of SOX and internal control processes
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Advanced skills in Excel
As a person, you are structured, self-motivated and communicative with good ability to collaborate across different functions.
