We are looking for new accountants in training for our Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) department (EY's compilation practice). This is a practice in which approximately 175 employees are active nationally on a daily basis. The teams work at various offices throughout the country. The teams are diverse, ambitious, very collegial and consist of both starters and experienced professionals.
The challenge - What future are you building towards?
Within our practice we work for large international companies, local SMEs as well as start-ups and scale-ups. As a starting accountant, you are active on a daily basis in the field of compiling annual accounts, providing administrative support, preparing various tax returns (VAT/CIT) and providing advice. We put together our team depending on the size of the company and the assignment.
### What you will do: How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world? What are you going to do?
• As an accountant in training, you will work within an enthusiastic and informal team where you will be active on a daily basis in the field of compiling annual accounts, preparing management information and other (tax) advice.
• The work is carried out for DGAs, startups, scale ups (via our EYnovation program), not-for-profit organizations and international companies. As you develop further, you advise more clients in a broad financial and tax area.
• You have the option to follow the HBO accountancy or post-HBO AA course (or to continue a course that has already started). EY also provides experience in carrying out assignments required for your AA practical internship (assessment assignments / other Assurance assignments).
• You get the most out of yourself with the help of your personal mentor and your counselor, who provide you with regular feedback.
• Coaching on the job is the standard within EY!

You have (almost) obtained your diploma and are looking for a varied (first) job. Time to put your theoretical knowledge into practice, build relationships and get the best out of yourself and colleagues. You are ready for a challenge and enjoy being thrown in at the deep end. We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
• You have recently graduated, are currently completing your training or are about to start a part-time or dual program in, for example, Accountancy, Finance, Tax & Advice, Finance & Control, Business administration & control specialist or another financially oriented study.
• You have preferably gained relevant work experience during a job, internship or working studentship.
• You have the ambition and perseverance to progress in the profession. You are prepared to take up the AA course after completing your HBO education.
• Your strengths are: accurate, stress-resistant, ambitious, a service-oriented and client-oriented attitude and you can work well in a team.
• You have excellent communication skills and can work well in a team, but also work well independently.

### What we offer: Is everything that counts being counted?
• Salary: in addition to your fixed salary, depending on EY's financial performance, you may be eligible for a bonus. You are also entitled to an expense allowance (depending on position) and an internet allowance of €40 net per month;
• 50/50 arrangement: you get a 40-hour contract, where you work 4 days and go to school 1 day. EY pays half your salary for the school days;

Part of the application procedure is an (online) assessment and a pre-employment screening.
