In order to realize our projects economically successfully, we are looking for you to join our financing team. We structure financing, develop investment models and work closely with partners - nationally and internationally. In this way, we secure the financial basis for the expansion of renewable energies.
Become part of our team in Dauerthal as a Senior Financial Analyst (m/f/d) and work with us on our mission: Sustainably generate renewable energies. So that the earth remains worth living in.
• You will perform modeling and financial analysis of energy projects, including financial valuation, sensitivity and portfolio analyzes for projects in the areas of wind, photovoltaics, hydrogen and power-to-X - in different development phases and countries.
• You will work on the further development and optimization of financial valuation models in Excel and with modern tools such as PowerBI and PowerApps.
• You build, integrate and consolidate data models in PowerQuery to support strategic decisions and increase the efficiency of data flows.
• By standardizing and optimizing investment decision-making processes and capital allocation criteria, you can actively contribute to improving internal processes.
• Automating and checking financial budgets is also your responsibility, ensuring that the planning data in the financial planner (currently C8 Cubeware) is always consistent and correct.
• You actively shape the further development and automation of financial valuation models in order to make the overall process more efficient and transparent.
### Qualifications
• You have a degree in economics, industrial engineering or comparable qualifications.
• You also have at least 5 years of experience in financial analysis in the energy sector or similar industries or activities (e.g. real estate).
• You have in-depth knowledge of financial modeling (DCF, VBA, PowerBI, SQL) and initial experience with power platforms (PowerApps, PowerAutomate).
• You also have a strong IT affinity and desire to drive forward digital innovations.
• Fluent German and English skills, other languages are a plus.
• You have a high degree of initiative and team spirit.
