KRONOS Europe (KEU) is a well-established company in the Ghent Canal Zone. As one of the six production sites of KRONOS Worldwide INC, we have been producing the world's finest titanium dioxide for over 100 years. Thanks to the global efforts of our 2,250 colleagues, we have become a major player in the chemical sector. As HR BP, you and your team will be responsible for the payroll administration of our 300 employees (both blue-collar and staff) at our Ghent site. What will your workday look like?
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of our payroll processes. You will receive support from three team members. You will also be responsible for the further development of the compensation and benefits policy, including a classification system, salary benchmarking, variable pay, and a cafeteria plan. Keeping up to date with HR trends and changes in social legislation is also part of your responsibilities.
This role places a strong emphasis on projects related to administrative simplification and digitalization. As a strategic partner, you will support various departments by providing advice on complex personnel issues, HR advice, and workforce optimization.
Finally, you will maintain close collaboration with unions, the payroll office, and HR colleagues at other sites.
The HR BP reports to the HR Manager.
### Profile
We are looking for someone with a passion for HR and the drive to get the best out of our team. In addition, we expect the following:
• You think at a master's level and have solid experience in compensation & benefits and/or payroll administration. Experience in a production environment is a plus.
• You have thorough knowledge of Belgian labor law and can formulate clear (legally sound) advice.
• You have a strong interest in digitalization and want to contribute to the transition to more automated systems.
• You have strong analytical skills and a structured approach. You can think conceptually and deliver high-quality, accurate work.
• You are assertive and confident in defending your positions. You are proactive and able to inspire others.
