We are the grid operator in most of South Holland and the provinces of Utrecht and Zeeland. More than 2.4 million customers count on us. Day and night. Because we want future generations to always have energy, we are switching to clean energy together. From sources that do not run out and that do not deplete or pollute the planet.
This is an enormous challenge, especially considering that financing, sufficient personnel and materials are important preconditions and also scarce. We are working on our mission and vision by building faster, optimally utilizing and properly managing the networks.
We are expanding our grid so that more than 100 wind turbines can operate, strengthening our electricity grid with more than 1,300 kilometers of cables and building 500 electricity stations. All to make the energy transition, additional housing construction and activity in our area possible.
